The seven of us grew up in the small city of our birthplace, Cirebon. We are elated to feel the improvements our city has made, cleaner streets and more programs to decrease pollution, however we are saddened by the fact that the impact has not spread to the ends of the city.

The Tuk Village is located in an area of Cirebon called Kedawung and is one of the many villages that exist in the outskirts of the city. We have chosen this place to be the focus of of our project due to the large amount of scattered trash it has, and all big things start small - if we are going to change the city, we have to start somewhere relatively accessible.

Our main goal and purpose is to help the residents of Tuk village increase their awareness towards sanitation and educate younger children to take part in simple yet crucial act of reduce, reuse and recycle. Hopefully by the end of our project we were able to help them in a way that they can also improve their lifestyle, and for us to experience more about the fun in voluntary services and small acts of kindness that could mean a lot for both parties.
